Phase 1

Getting Started

  • Decide what areas you want to renovate and how you’ll use them.

  • Write down your project desires, priorities, and concerns.

  • Explore ideas and gather inspiration pictures or take our style quiz to help us understand your preferences.

  • To ensure your design is accurate, please upload photos, dimensions, as-built drawings, and/or floor plans of your space here before your consultation — or choose an in-home visit if you'd prefer hands-on measurements.

Phase 2

Design & Planning

Understanding What You Need:
A contractor builds what's already decided. No one is looking at the whole picture — how you'll use the space, what fits your home long-term, or what a rushed decision now could cost you later. That's what this phase is for.

Based on what we learn about your space and your goals, we develop the plan your project actually needs. That might be a full set of layouts and specifications, a written assessment with prioritized recommendations, or something in between — scoped to what will genuinely move your project forward, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Deliverables may vary depending on the specific needs and scope of your project, as each renovation is unique:

  • Concept sketches, mood boards, or 3D views

  • Existing and proposed floor plans

  • Material, finish, and color selections

  • Lighting, paint, and tile schedules

  • Product recommendations with sourcing links

  • Contractor notes and specifications

  • Budget-friendly alternatives, where helpful

Book a Paid Design Session (Optional):
If you have questions or want more clarity before moving forward, this is the time to schedule a paid consultation. We'll walk through the design together so you feel comfortable moving forward.

Design Support During Construction

Keeping the Vision on Track:

A separate, optional add-on — not included in the design phase.

For clients who want continued guidance once the design is finalized, we're available as a resource for you and your contractor during construction.
